The song was sparked during a summer night in Marbella, Spain, where Alexander heard tribal EDM playing at a bustling outdoor restaurant. Drawn to the congas, distorted timbales and hypnotic pulse, he returned to the studio wanting to capture that same energy in his own way. The production came first, followed by the melody and lyrics, as Alexander and collaborator David Stewart Jr. built a story around temptation, obsession and the intoxicating pull of something you know is dangerous.
