In May of this year, I embarked on a new journey, music. Produced by Laney Stewart, and written by Alex Jacke and Liz Rodriguez, My Crew was born. When we first discussed music ideas, I was 12, and I knew I wanted to celebrate friendships. We found out that we couldn’t attend in-person school and that lessons would be via Zoom. It was all very new, and I missed the bustling school hallways and endless banter with my classmates.
